A Govan church held a community event today.
Govan and Linthouse Parish Church organised the event to celebrate harvest and launch their Messy Chuch initiative.
Local families got together to do arts and crafts, listen to music, have food and partake in workshops.
Taking place on the church's grounds on Govan Road, the funday started at 3.30pm and finished 5.30pm, after dinner.

Jamie Goodwin, Organiser and Arts and Worship Development Worker: "The main goal of the Sunday Funday We were working together with the All Of Us campaign throughout the year and it was coming along to harvest time on the church calendar, so we just wanted to celebrate and put an event on for people to mark the end of the campaign.
"But it is also to launch what we call Messy Church here. It's a UK national charity project, with the idea of getting families and children involved in church life and learning about faith elements.
"We worked with partners to do that and there are faith elements involved but it's through being messy and crafts, music making, noise, so something that families can get involved in.
"It is not your traditional service."
