An audience member was removed from the crowd during the final performance of Kevin Bridges' Overdue Catch-Up tour in Glasgow last night.

The sell-out show took place at the OVO Hydro where the Clydebank funnyman was said to have taken the time to check on his fan before they were escorted from their seat by a member of the venue's staff.

One eyewitness said: "I didn't see any trouble, but security seemed to be speaking to someone down the front for quite a while.

"Kevin stopped to ask if everything was okay after some time to make sure it wasn't a medical emergency.

"Someone said it was because the person had fallen asleep but he said 'they're not getting papped out for falling asleep'."

In response to the incident, a spokesperson for The Scottish Event Campus (SEC), which runs the OVO Hydro, said: “The individual in question was removed as soon as our team became aware of the situation, as is standard practice.”
