A Glasgow student society has hit out at 'insulting' racist graffiti which has appeared on a university campus.
A student recently noticed anti-Chinese slogans painted around the grounds of Glasgow University.
Images shared on a Chinese social media site Xiaohongshu show the tag 'Kill the Chinese' painted on the St Andrew's building on Eldon Street.
This was alerted to the Glasgow Chinese Students and Scholars Association, who said: "Recently, a classmate reported that some graffiti insulting China was found on the campus of the University of Glasgow and various buildings in the city.
"We strongly condemn this racial discrimination and hate crime."
The group has also taken measures to discuss the incident with the university and the police.

The University confirmed to the Glasgow Times that they were working with the police to deal with the graffiti, which they say has appeared in numerous locations across Glasgow.
A spokesperson said: “The University of Glasgow condemns discrimination of any kind and is committed to promoting equality and diversity across its community and campus.
'The security and wellbeing of students and staff is the University’s number one priority and treats all incidents and complaints seriously.
"The University is currently liaising with Police Scotland about graffiti which has appeared in a number of locations across the city.”

Police Scotland confirmed they received four reports of racist graffiti and are trying to trace the culprits.
Inspector Mhairi Crawford said: “An investigation is underway following four reports of vandalism in and around the grounds of Glasgow University.
"The incidents occurred between September 19 and 20, 2022.
"Officers will be reviewing CCTV footage from that area and enquiries are ongoing.
“We understand the negative impact this crime can have on the community and how upsetting this offensive language may have.
"It harms people’s feelings of community safety and impacts on the appearance of local areas. It also creates unnecessary expense for individuals and organisations.
“Anyone who knows who is responsible should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting 2277 of September 19, 2022."
