It's the end of an era for one Glasgow chippy as they have made the decision to close their shop.
Stefano's in Drumchapel made the announcement to locals and customers that due to the increase in the cost of living, their current team can no longer run the establishment.
The shop has been returned to the owner who will now rent it out.
In a message posted to social media, they wrote: "As you all know the cost of living has increased dramatically, especially gas and electricity they have been the hardest. This is having a huge impact on businesses!
"Unfortunately we have tried to make it work and it's just not working."

They added: "It is not a decision that came easy but unfortunately it has come to this.
"Would like to thank all regular and new customers that have supported the shop over the years and all the staff that's been there throughout... wish whoever takes the chippy on for their next adventure good luck!"
They added that they are not sure when the chippy will reopen as there are no immediate plans for someone to take over the business.
Disappointed customers reacted to the news, with one commenting: "That's a shame. Cracking wee chippy too, cost of living really is getting to everyone."
Another said: "Loved this shop when I stayed in Drumchapel so sorry it's come to this good luck for the future."
A third added: "So sorry to hear this!… best chippy around!"
The closure comes just after we reported that Southside chip shop Guido's was forced to close, as rising costs and falling foot traffic meant that trading was no longer viable.

The owner said: “Unfortunately, due to the high rise of bills and high rent we weren’t able to keep up with our costs.
“And we couldn’t ask people for more money regarding the prices so we decided to just give it up, as it wasn’t busy enough."
