UPDATE: A driver has been fined after a four-vehicle crash.
RUSH hour traffic has been disrupted by a crash near roadworks on a busy motorway.
A collision on the M74 near Junction 6 Hamilton Interchange occurred shortly after 7am today.
Traffic Scotland has tweeted that police are on their way to the scene as traffic builds up.
The crash happened near the ongoing roadworks on the motorway.
As a result, the road is restricted in both directions.
Traffic faced northbound delays of up to 90 minutes, and southbound delays of 20 minutes.

At 8.39am, Traffic Scotland issued an update that the incident had been cleared.
