A Glasgow butcher has installed life-saving defibrillators following an 'eye-opening' customer experience.
George Gilmour, 38, of David Cox Quality Butcher shop, had the defibrillators installed outside his Bridgeton and King's Park stores last week.
The initiative is in partnership with Butchers at the Heart of the Community, who provided posters and collection boxes.

Mr Gimour said: "We decided to do this after a customer came into the store needing a defibrillator.
"There wasn't one close by, so he had to go to the train station to get a hold of one. This was an eye-opener, and we decided we wanted to try and help the community by having that facility here."
He added: "Ambulances are inundated at the moment, so if it takes a bit longer for them to arrive, people can use the defibrillator and that could be life-changing.
"It gives us great pride in knowing that the facility is there, hopefully, it's not ever needed, but if it was and it saves somebody's life, that's an incredible feeling."
Mr Gimour has been fundraising for around two months and managed to raise £3000 for the equipment, thanks to his 'humbling' customers and local business.

Several local businesses around Glasgow contributed 'over £100 each', and customers far and wide reached into their pockets for the cause.
Mr Gimour said: "This really was a community effort.
"Money was given by customers and local businesses, it was very humbling and great to see so many people club together to achieve this goal. I'm very thankful.
"The congratulations doesn't just go to me, it goes to them too."
Though the defibrillators are a 'big bonus' for George, they are for the community too.
Mr Gilmour said that the feedback in-store and on social media has been fantastic, and he added how 'lovely' it is to know the community appreciate what he and his team have done.
The defibrillators will be available 24/7.
