Local cops are being dispatched to primary schools in a bid to crack down on 'dangerous' driving and parking.
Bellshill Community Police will be carrying out patrols at local schools St Patrick's Primary and New Stevenson Primary.
Officers are concerned that drivers not using the one-way systems in place in the area is becoming a danger to children making their way to and from school.

They are also cracking down on 'inconsiderate' driving and parking.
In a statement, a force spokesperson said: "The one-way systems are not being followed.
"This, along with inconsiderate driving/parking, is becoming dangerous for the children.
"Please obey the one-way systems and parking signs."
