Seven Rangers fans were arrested following the club's clash with Liverpool.
Merseyside Police confirmed that the fans, who made their way to England for the Champions League fixture on Tuesday night, were still in custody.
Cops revealed that the arrests were mainly related to "affray and being drunk and disorderly."
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Seven Rangers fans were arrested mainly for affray and being drunk and disorderly.
"All are still in custody."
The Ibrox side was defeated 2-0 at Anfield, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mo Salah on the scoresheet.
