A restaurant is giving away free food at Glasgow stores to help customers as the cost-of-living crisis continues.
Chopstix Noodle Bar is giving away 5000 boxes of free noodles to the first 100 customers on Thursday, October 6.
The team wanted to celebrate National Noodle Day as well as give communities "something to smile about" during tough times, as rising costs continue to affect millions of people.

Rob Burns, marketing director for Chopstix, said: “The last few years have been a challenging time for people across the UK and now the cost of living crisis is putting more and more people under continued pressure.
“We wanted to do something to mark National Noodle Day that would look to make even a little difference and give people something to smile about.
"We’re both excited and proud to be able to donate 10,000 noodle boxes to people across the UK during these uncertain times…and everyone loves noodles right?”
Chopstix has also donated 5000 food vouchers to the national foodbank Your Local Pantry, which will be distributed evenly across their 80 neighbourhood community hubs.
