THE Covid-19 pandemic saw many people move back to where they grew up, and that’s no different for comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean.
She moved back to her home island of Anglesey, struggled with lockdown and even got rescue chickens.
Exploring the themes of moving back home and what identity means in the UK, the Welsh comedian will return to Glasgow with her Home Truths tour later this month.
"It’s the second time I’m going to the Glasgow Stand with this show,"Kiri explains.
"The show has evolved because it’s been on tour, I toured from February to May, and then I did The Fringe and tweaked it for that and now it’s back on tour again so it’s sort of ever-evolving."
Kiri says Glasgow was one of her favourite shows she did on her initial tour and feels "lucky" to be coming back.

She said: "The audiences are always particularly up for it, I think they’re famed for it.
"That’s why so many people when they film their DVDs they’ll go and do it in Glasgow whether they’re from Scotland or not.
"They just know how to enjoy a night out and also how to enjoy comedy.
"I just think they’re a really good mix of being up for it but also being pretty comedy savvy as well."
She added: "One of the things Glasgow is great at is on my tour I do collections of biscuits at all the dates and then the biscuits go to local food banks or homeless shelters afterwards and Glasgow were exceptionally generous.
"I think we got eight bin bags full of biscuits so if you are going to come along, don’t forget your biscuits and let’s see if we can out do it and get nine bin bags."
Home Truths was branded one of the best 20 comedy shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Kiri promises you won’t "see a comedian who tries much harder than me on stage".

Kiri says: "I work really hard, and I make sure everyone in that room has a nice night.
"I really appreciate especially when times are so tough people coming out and spending their hard-earned coins on me, so I really go the full hog.
"I’ve got a full outfit for it I’ve got earrings I had specially made for it, and I’ve worked so hard on the jokes, I’ve been working on them for years now."
Kiri Pritchard-McLean: Home Truths will be at The Stand Comedy Club on Monday, October 17.
