A PENSIONER has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow.
Emergency services raced to Great Western Road at around 7pm where an 87-year-old woman was knocked down.
She has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be treated.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were made aware of a crash involving a car and a female pedestrian on Great Western Road in Glasgow around 7pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
“The pedestrian, an 87-year-old woman, was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.”
