A piece of land in Glasgow city centre is now up for auction.

The plot is for residential development and is going under the hammer at 2pm on Thursday, November 3, at the Radisson RED hotel.

Located at 143 Sauchiehall Lane, the 1,200 sq ft land will be open to bids at the auctioneer’s in-room auction with Auction House Scotland, at a guide price of £270,000+.

It has planning approved, although recently expired, for the development of a nine-storey block of 22 serviced apartment units with a café and reception on the ground floor.

Mandi Cooper, Managing Director of Auction House Scotland said: “This is a brilliant development opportunity in a prime city centre location, and if developed into serviced accommodation could offer a potential buyer a strong GDV (gross development value) with fantastic income potential.”

The auction will be live streamed allowing interested bidders the option to watch and bid online, whilst telephone and proxy bidding is also available if potential buyers are unable to attend the auction to bid in person. All bidders are required to register to bid before participating.
