A Week of Action has begun in Anderston to deep clean and tackle ongoing environmental issues in the area.
The council programme has been touring Glasgow’s communities since July to improve the appearance of areas in the city.
Following Craigend, Hillhead and Govan, Anderston is the latest location to receive a week-long scrubbing.

Starting from Monday, October 10, council teams will be removing graffiti and weeds, as well as tackling overgrown shrubbery, sweeping streets and cutting grass.
Council community enforcement officers will also be present to monitor litter dropping and ensure dog litter is being lifted.
Councillor Ruairi Kelly, Glasgow's convener for neighbourhood services and assets, said: “It’s great to see the Weeks of Action tackling environmental issues in communities across the city. Anderston is the latest area to benefit from the work by council teams tackling issues such as graffiti, overgrown shrubbery, dog fouling and weeding.
"The council has recruited 50 new members of staff to its deep clean team which is working alongside the Week of Action crews in Anderston and together they are making a real difference."
Today's action saw several streets in the Anderston area, including Sauchiehall Street, Berkley Street and North Claremont Street, receive a deep clean.
Council members also spent Monday afternoon cutting grass and weeding.
On Wednesday a community litter-picking session will take place.
A spokesperson for Glasgow City Council said: "Anderston residents are welcome to join our community litter-pick in Kent Road and surrounding streets on Wednesday, October 12, from 10.30am-1pm.
"Litter-picking equipment will be supplied and anyone keen to take part should meet our Clean Glasgow team at Kent Road, outside Glasgow Gaelic School."
Children from the Glasgow Gaelic School will be joining in on the session.

Other Anderston residents have joined in on the action too.
A spokesperson for Glasgow City Council said: "Residents are also getting involved in helping us make their area look its best by joining our Clean Glasgow team for community litter-picks in streets near their homes."
Councillor Kelly added: “I’m particularly delighted to see residents supporting our work by taking part in the community litter picks like the one which will take place in Kent Road on Wednesday morning and by moving their cars when requested to enable bulky street cleaning equipment to access residential areas.”
The Weeks of Action take place on top of normal council maintenance.
