A Scottish housebuilder has been given the green light to build 167 new homes as part of a £57 million development in Robroyston.
Having secured permission from Glasgow City Council, Avant Homes has commenced initial groundwork at the 17-acre site which will soon be known as Darrach Fields.
The site is located just off Daffodil Place, which the firm purchased in February of this year.

Avant Homes Scotland area director, Iain Innes said: “Over the past decade, Robroyston has seen extensive development to transform the area, which has led to increased demand for high-quality, new-build housing.
“We’re pleased that we have moved our plans forward to continue the development of the town and look forward to launching our new homes in due course.”
With work now underway, the first show houses at the development are expected to be ready for Spring, 2023.
A mix of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes will be available with prices starting from around £232,000.
