Glasgow Times readers have reacted after a major shopping centre said it now welcomes dogs.
Silverburn announced on Monday that they will allow pets into their premises and water bowls and waste bags will be provided for owners.
Some Glasgwegians wereb delighted by the news.
One person said: "Fantastic, my dog is my family. Well-behaved unlike some humans and children."
Another added: "This is an amazing idea!
"Dogs are a massive part of many people's lives, I am not a dog owner to only have her at home or walk in the park, she is my child and being able to take her to pop in and grab a coffee at Starbucks or grab a birthday card or outfit at Silverburn is amazing."
A third comment read: "This is great! Appreciate some people aren’t ‘dog people’ but this caters for those living alone with a dog with severe separation anxiety like me.
"I don’t see it as a problem as long as dogs are trained to behave appropriately whilst there."

Others, however, do not support the changes.
One person said: "The stupidest idea I have ever seen! I love dogs, but come on, there must be a difference between humans and animals."
A different comment read: "Don't agree with this at all! Having a child that is terrified of dogs is hard enough in open spaces without now having to worry about them being in indoor spaces."
A third person added: "Wrong in so many ways. I don't want to be buying clothes that are covered in dog hair."
