A boy and a woman were rushed to hospital after a collision this morning.
As the Glasgow Times reported earlier, a section of the M80 was closed, near junctions 3 and 4, after a crash, which happened around 9am this morning.
Now, Police Scotland has confirmed that two people were taken to hospital following the incident.
A woman and a boy were transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, following the one-car crash.
The force has also confirmed that officers were called to the scene around 9.05am.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.05am on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, officers were called to a report of a one-car crash on the M80 between junction 3 and 4.
“Emergency services attended and a woman and a boy were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as a precaution.
“Vehicle recovery was arranged.”
