A MAJOR retailer is opening in Silverburn.

British lifestyle retailer The White Company will open at the Pollok shopping centre on December 10. 

Just in time for Christmas, shoppers can enjoy the store's popular collections including fragrances, day, decor, lounge and sleepwear, as well as The Little White Company range.

The store will bring 14 permanent jobs, as well as six roles over the Christmas period. 

After being purchased by Eurofund earlier this year, the long-term plan for Silverburn is to emulate a premium shopping destination with new openings and high-end brands. 

The White Company joins well-known names such as Flannels, Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger.

Sarah King, director of property at The White Company, explained: “The White Company have been seeking additional representation in the Glasgow market and were excited by Eurofund Group’s plans for Silverburn.  

"We are delighted to reach agreement on this new space for the brand and to be opening in time for Christmas.”

David Pierotti, Silverburn's general manager of Silverburn, added: “We are really excited to welcome The White Company and we know that customers will share our sentiment. 

"It has a fantastic reputation for heritage and quality and will perfectly complement our existing brands.

"It’s a great way to end 2022 and we are looking forward to making more announcements in 2023.”
