An error in calculating the length of Glasgow's Great Scottish Run 10k has meant that the course was too short and that Eilish McColgan's record is now invalid.
The popular event returned to Glasgow's streets earlier this month for the first time in three years, and thousands took part in the half-marathon and 10k.
But now organisers have determined that the course was short by 150 metres.

Paul Foster, chief executive of the event, said: "We were recently made aware of a discrepancy with the 10k course at this year’s Great Scottish Run.
"Following an internal investigation, we have established it was 150m short.
"The shortfall in the distance was wholly due to human error. An area of the course was not laid out in line with the previously agreed plans.
"This error had a marginal knock on to the half marathon, but it was within tolerance and the course on the day was valid.
"We’re extremely disappointed that this happened at the 10K, on what was an incredibly positive return to the city for the Great Scottish Run following the pandemic."
As a result, the mistake means that Scottish runner Eilish McColgan, who completed the course in 30 minutes and 18 seconds, did not break the British 10k record.
Mr Foster added: "This error invalidates Eilish McColgan’s European and British 10k records that were believed to have been set on the day.
"We have been in touch with Eilish directly to explain and to apologise."

Bosses are undertaking a review to prevent the error from occurring at next year's run, and have offered participants a discount if they wish to enter in 2023.
Mr Foster said: "We will be reviewing our internal processes to ensure we cannot make this mistake again.
"We know we’ve let our customers down on this occasion. There are no excuses for this happening and we’re very sorry.
"We’ll be in touch with everyone who took part in the 10K offering a 10% discount on entry into the 2023 event."
