Glasgow's newest bridge has been illuminated at night in a stunning image.
Stockingfield Bridge was built to connect the communities of Maryhill, Ruchill and Gilshochill and the main section opened last week.
Its multi-coloured lighting was recently tested, and reader Derek Gillan was lucky enough to see it and take a photograph of it.
Derek told the Glasgow Times: "The Stockingfield Bridge is a masterclass in structural architecture and beauty."
The bridge was scheduled to open fully to the public in September, but works were delayed due to supply issues.

We previously reported that a photo of the bridge taken by George McBurnie won the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Photo Competition.
George, a senior project manager for Scottish Canals and an ICE Scotland member, said he took the picture because he wanted to capture the structure’s many benefits.
