A THUG has admitted assaulting a man amid a "hate crime" at student halls.
Stephen Gray, 22, attacked his victim at the accommodation in Dunaskin Street in Glasgow's Partick on September 19 this year.
Gray, of the city's Newlands, repeatedly punched and kicked him on the head and body to his injury.

Prosecutors state the alleged crime was "racially aggravated".
He pleaded guilty today to the assault charge at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Kyle Miller, 22, and Shannon Carrick, 18, had their not guilty pleas accepted by the prosecutor.
Gray also faced a separate charge of acting in an aggressive manner towards the man, swearing and making a racist remark.
But, his not guilty plea to that was also accepted.

Sheriff Diana McConnell deferred sentence to later this month where more information surrounding the circumstances of the assault will be heard.
She said: "Your remand will be continued as you were on two separate bail orders at the time.
"Due to the nature of this offence, there is a chance you will be compelled to commit further offending."
