Police have shut down a number of roads this evening after reports of a man falling from a building.
Cops were alerted to the incident on Almada Street in Hamilton at around 3.35pm.
They remain at the scene now with emergency services also in attendance.
There has been no further information provided regarding the man's condition at this time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are in attendance at Almada Street in Hamilton after concern for a man who fell from a building in the area around 3.35pm on Friday, October 21.
“The road is currently closed and emergency services are in attendance.”
Earlier this evening, South Lanarkshire Council confirmed that roads in the surrounding area had also been shut due to a "police incident".
They have advised the public to avoid the area.
A spokesperson said: "There are currently several roads closed in the centre of Hamilton.
"Almada Street, Beckford Street, Union Street, Douglas Street, Almada Lane and Montrose Crescent are all closed due to a police incident.
"Please avoid the area if possible."
