A MAN is in hospital after being found injured outside a popular bar.
The 52-year-old was found outside the Black Cat bar in Greenock on Saturday night with a serious head injury.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Cops are now probing the incident and are urging anyone who was at the bar or nearby to make contact.
Detective Inspector Nikki Wake said: “We are keen to speak to anyone inside or outside the premises on Saturday night who may have information to help our enquiries to establish the full circumstance of what happened.
“In addition, if you were driving in the area and have dash-cam footage that could assist our enquiries then please get in touch.”
