Police have provided an update about a collision on a major Glasgow road this morning.
As the Glasgow Times reported, around 7am this morning, a crash slowed traffic on the M8 motorway, near junctions 11 and 12, in Riddrie.
In an update just after 8am, Traffic Scotland confirmed that the road remains blocked Westbound in the area and traffic slowing from junction 10 in Easterhouse.
Now, a force spokesperson has confirmed that officers were called to a one-vehicle crash and recovery has been arranged.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7am on Monday, October 24, 2022, officers received reports of a one-vehicle crash on the M8 westbound between junctions 11 and 12.
“Emergency services attended and arrangements were made for the vehicle to be recovered.”
