A man died suddenly in Hamilton last night.
Shortly before 9pm, police were called to Almada Street after receiving a report of the incident.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the sudden death of a man on Almada Street in Hamilton shortly before 9pm on Sunday, October 23.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
The Glasgow Times previously reported that a 35-year-old man had died after falling from a building on the same street on Friday afternoon.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said about that incident: “Around 3.35pm on Friday, October 21, a 35-year-old man fell from a building in Almada Street, Hamilton.
"He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“A post-mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, which is not being treated as suspicious.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
It is understood that there is no link between the incidents.
