AN investigation is underway after a was woman 'robbed' in broad daylight.
Cops were called at around 3pm yesterday to a report of a woman being robbed in a lane next to Kirkintilloch Road in Bishopbriggs.
The incident took place around 2.40pm.
Officers said an investigation into what happened is at an early stage.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3pm on Monday, October 24, police were called to a report of a 39-year-old woman robbed around 20 minutes earlier in a lane next to Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopriggs.
"Enquiries are at an early stage to establish more information surrounding this incident."
