A MAJOR retailer has provided an update on their new store opening in Glasgow.

We previously reported that signs for the popular toy store The Entertainer had appeared outside unit 25 in the St Enoch Centre. 

Now bosses have revealed that they expect to open in the coming weeks.

A spokesperson said: “We’re delighted to announce that The Entertainer will be opening at St. Enoch Centre!

"We’re looking forward to welcoming shoppers through our doors when we open in the next few weeks.

“We’re working behind the scenes on some very exciting launch plans to celebrate our new store, and look forward to sharing further details soon!”

Shopping centre bosses also confirmed the new arrival, joining beauty brand BPerfect which opened earlier this month.

They added that they will be hosting Christmas-related activities in line with the opening near the festive season.

Anne Ledgerwood, centre director at St. Enoch Centre, said: “We’re delighted that Christmas is coming a little early this year at St. Enoch Centre with the arrival of toy retailer The Entertainer.

"Shoppers can expect lots of fun events and festive activities when the store opens in a few weeks.”
