A new Matalan store is coming to East Kilbride.

The fashion and home retailer has announced a new 20,000sqft store in the town's EK shopping centre.

It will open to the public on Friday, November 4.

Customers can expect the brand's usual range of clothing, footwear, homeware, toys and accessories, as well as in-store brands including Claire’s Accessories.

A new click-and-collect system will allow shoppers to make purchases from the store's online brands, including Little Mistress, Wrangler and Trespass. 

Store manager Allan McGowan said: “We are extremely excited to be arriving in East Kilbride.

"The store will bring an amazing shopping environment to the Centre by offering outstanding products at amazing value.

"We cannot wait to showcase our brand new store to our customers and look forward to seeing you all very soon!”

Matalan will be located at Unit 11, The Plaza, East Kilbride Shopping Centre, East Kilbride, G74 1LL. 

Their opening hours will be Monday to Wednesday from 9am to 6pm, Thursday from 9am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday from 9am to 6pm and Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
