The second phase of work will begin on the westbound side of the bridge on Monday, October 31.
As a result, road closures will be in place “most nights” between 10pm and 6am for approximately 10 weeks.
The diversion route for westbound M8 traffic during these closures will be:
Exit M8 18 Charing X/Kelvingrove > Newton Street > M8 westbound

During periods of closure, local traffic using the Anderston on or off slip will be diverted via the following routes:
Anderston off Slip Closure
Exit M8 18 Charing X/Kelvingrove > Newton Street > Argyle St
Anderston on Slip Closure
Continue on North Street > Join M8 westbound at Junction 18
Outwith these times the bridge will operate with narrowed lanes to allow for any day shift works to be completed.
Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
