A man was taken to hospital after being assaulted in North Glasgow.
Police were called to reports of the incident at Crichton Place in Springburn just after 1am this morning.
A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital after being injured in a serious assault.
Reports on social media suggest that the road was closed in the early hours as emergency services responded.
Police Scotland has now confirmed that an investigation is ongoing and they ask anyone with information to come forward.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.05am on Saturday, October 29, police were called to a report of a 33-year-old man seriously assaulted in Crichton Place, Springburn.
"The injured man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary to be treated for his injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing into this incident and anyone with information that may assist the ongoing investigation should contact 101 with reference number 0254 of October 29.”
