Glasgow's newest bridge in Maryhill has officially opened - here are the first reactions.
Stockingfield Bridge, connecting the communities of Maryhill, Ruchill and Gilsochill, is finally open to the public.
The new structure, surrounded by artwork by the local community, is hoped to provide an outdoor space and a useful connection between communities.
Richard Millar, COO of Scottish Canals, said on Twitter: "Today, as a team, we opened the gates and gave the community access to this brilliant green space and amazing double-decked bridge."

Originally due to be ready at the end of September, the facility has caught the eyes of locals already.
One person said: "Fantastic, I grew up in the area and now just a mile down the road. Brilliant to see, look forward to the next project and more path improvements."
Another resident added: "Wow! Well done, team. Can't wait to run over it."
A third response reads: "Cycled this with friends on Sunday and no picture seems to do it justice.
"Easy to cycle on, beautiful to look at and to view from, and offers a fantastic solution to cross a wide stretch of the canal in 2 additional directions to the towpath."
The bridge also recently received the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) People’s Choice Award for 2022, which recognises projects that have made a positive impact on their local communities.
