A popular restaurant chain is set to open a new Southside location.
The Glasgow Times previously reported that McFly’s chicken had announced the closure of their restaurant at 67 Kilmarnock Road in September of this year.
Now it appears that pan-Asian experts Salt and Chilli Oriental, who already have a takeaway spot on Dumbarton Road as well in Edinburgh and Hamilton will be moving into the space.
A statement on their website says: “We are opening in Shawlands Southside.
“Let’s go.
“Come visit us for your Salt and Chilli fix.”
Although no official opening date has been shared, signage has appeared on the shop front leaving Southsiders hungry for a taste of salt and chilli goodness from Celebrity chef Jimmy Lee and his team.
