A restaurant popular with Celtic and Rangers footballers could win an award for being the best Italian in Scotland.
La Lanterna, on Hope Street, is a finalist in the category of Best Restaurant (West) at this year's Italian Awards.
The staff took to social media to share their delight ahead of the ceremony on November 27.
They are also up for Best Team in Scotland.
Meanwhile, their sister restaurant, located in the West End, is up for Scotland’s Best Wine Selection, Scotland’s Favourite Italian Business and Scotland’s Best Family Friendly Restaurant.

Both restaurants have been popular with the city's star footballers. Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart ate there last year, while striker Giorgos Giakoumakis also popped in after a Celtic win against Dundee in February.
Japanese stars Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate also visited the Italian spot soon after arriving in Glasgow in January.
Meanwhile, Rangers players Jack Simpson, Cedric Itten, and Scott Wright were pictured with a member of staff at the West End venue earlier this year.
