POLICE have provided an update on an incident in the city centre.
We previously reported that cops had locked down an area of Hope Street.
Officers were seen carrying out an investigation of the road where a McGill's bus was left parked without a driver.
Blood was seen on the pavement near the Savers discount store.
Now the force has confirmed that they were called to a report of a woman being hit by a bus.
She has since been taken to hospital.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.30pm on Thursday, November 10, police were called to a report of a woman struck by a bus on Hope Street at Sauchiehall Street.
"Officers are in attendance and the woman has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary."
