A Glasgow restaurant recently visited by a Celtic star player has been nominated for the best restaurant in west Scotland in a top awards event.
La Vita Spuntini, located on Gordon Street, could win Best Restaurant (West) as well as Best Family-Friendly Restaurant at the upcoming Italian Awards on November 27.
Staff revealed their delight at the news on social media, where they thanked their customers for their loyal support.
The city centre restaurant, known for its Italian tapas-style plates, has become a popular choice for the city's footballing stars as they recently welcomed Hoops goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Spuntini is a sister restaurant of La Vita, which is also up for Best Pizzeria.
We previously reported that Hope Street eatery La Lanterna, regularly visited by Celtic and Rangers first-team players, is nominated for Best Restaurant.
