A popular restaurant has closed its doors after five years.
Seafood eatery Fantoosh Nook has stopped trading after serving the community of Milngavie since 2017.
A representative of the restaurant recently shared a post on social media acknowledging the closure.

It read: "2017-2022. Five Good Years.
"Now it's time to close the doors of our lovely restaurant for the last time and move on to the next chapter.
"We enjoyed doing it and thank everyone who came along for the journey."
Locals were quick to react to the sad news of the closure, with one commenting: "Very sorry to hear of this. It is a lovely restaurant and will be missed. I would like to wish you all the very best for the future."
Another added: "Very sorry to hear this - I’ve had some good meals there with my family. Best wishes for the future."

The restaurant unit has since appeared on Rightmove for sale, described as a "popular local restaurant" with "excellent footfall and customer base".
It is also in walk-in condition and is marked with "huge potential" for a new owner.
