Lidl bosses have confirmed their plans for opening a new store in Glasgow.
Work is underway on the German supermarket giant's latest store in the city's West End at Anniesland Cross.
We reported last month that the firm had applied for an off-sales licence for the premises at 868 Crow Road.
The 1405m store will open to customers in February 2023 and will feature an in-store bakery.

The addition is expected to bring 40 jobs to the community.
Lidl GB’s regional head of property, Gordon Rafferty, commented: “Construction starting at the Anniesland store marks another important milestone in our ongoing investment in Scotland.
"We’re excited to see the development progress over the coming few months, with a view to welcome the first customers through the doors in February.”
It comes after we reported that supermarket bosses were given the go-ahead to open a store in the city's Dalmarnock.
The plans were strongly endorsed by local residents, who filed 20 letters of support.
