Cops are on the hunt for a suspect dressed in black with 'messy' hair after two cars were deliberately torched.
A man reportedly tried to set fire to a vehicle on Burns Road in Cumbernauld on Sunday morning at around 9am.
Later on that evening at 8.15pm, another car was set alight on the same street.
No one was injured in the incidents.
Officers are trying to track down a suspect described as being in his late 30s, around 5ft 10in tall with brown messy hair and dark facial hair.
A black Skoda Octavia was also seen in the area at the time.
Anyone who has a dashcam or private CCTV footage of the area around the time of the incidents is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1104 or 3455 of Sunday, November 13, 2022.
