A major retailer has confirmed the opening date of their new Glasgow store - with free gifts and Christmas events planned.
We previously reported that signs for popular toy shop The Entertainer had gone up at the former unit of the Disney Store in St Enoch centre.
Shoppers can expect to find a wide selection of toys and games in the 2996sqft store in time for the festive season as the store will open on Saturday, November 19.
The team are planning to mark the occasion with a range of celebrations, including meet and greets with characters Bluey and Cam the Cat from Squishmallows, The Entertainer’s very own Jack and an in-store balloon artist.

Visitors will also have the chance to try before they buy with in-store toy demonstrations and can take advantage of a free gift with every purchase.
Ahead of Christmas, The Entertainer's in-store elf will be on hand from 11am to 3pm to help children craft their letters to Santa, who will send personalised responses.
For anyone who wants to get there early, the first 20 families can take part in the store’s lucky dip to win a gift card pre-loaded with a value from £5 to £100 to spend in-store.

Store manager Garry Smith said: “We can’t wait to open the doors to our new store at St. Enoch Centre and welcome customers from Glasgow and beyond to our opening day party, which is set to be jam-packed full of fun for all the family.
“Opening just in time for the most wonderful time of the year, we hope our new store will be the perfect place to shop and discover our fantastic selection of toys and games and pick up presents that are sure to put smiles on their faces this Christmas.”
Anne Ledgerwood, centre director at St. Enoch Centre, added: “We’re delighted that Christmas is coming to Glasgow a little early this year at St. Enoch Centre with toy retailer The Entertainer opening within the centre on Saturday, November 19.
“We’re excited for The Entertainer to open its doors at the centre, and look forward to the exciting opening day plans they have in store for our visitors!”
