A POPULAR coffee chain will close one of its stores in East Kilbride next month.
Costa Coffee will permanently close its outlet at The Olympia on Sunday, December 18 due to its lease ending.
The company says it is currently working to transfer staff to other stores in the local area.

A Costa Coffee spokesperson said: "We can confirm that the Costa Coffee store at East Kilbride Olympia will close permanently on Sunday 18 December 2022 due to the lease ending at the premise.
"We are currently working with our team members from the store on transfer opportunities to separate Costa Coffee stores in the local area and will be able to update further on this in due course."
There is a second Costa Coffee located in The Plaza area of East Kilbride.
