The final bauble has been hung on the Christmas tree in George Square by Lord Provost Jacqueline McLaren.
The Norway spruce arrived in the city centre on Tuesday, with Glasgow City Council staff pictured fitting the tree yesterday and today.
Now, the tree has been fully decorated ahead of this Sunday's light switch-on after the Lord Provost placed the final red bauble from a cherry picker.

She told the Glasgow Times: "It was brilliant [hanging the final bauble], so exciting.
"One of the best things about this job is doing all the exciting things in the city."
Glasgow Loves Christmas is bringing the popular Glasgow’s Christmas light switch-on event back to George Square on Sunday, November 20, for the first time since 2019, to launch the city’s festive celebrations.

Entry gates will open at 4.30pm for 10,600 lucky ticketholders before singers, including Callum Beattie, actors and comedy performers take to the stage.
The Lord Provost said: "The last couple of years have been really difficult with not being able to meet friends and be out with everyone.
"This year with the Christmas tree and all the festivities coming back, I think it's going to be back with a bang and folk are really looking forward to coming here at the weekend for the light switch-on.
"It's one of the highlights of the year for Glasgow City Council."
