Details of the Blessing of the Crib in Glasgow have been revealed.
The annual Christmas tradition, which marks the beginning of the Advent Season will take place on Wednesday, November 30 at 6pm, at the City Chambers.
It will continue on the city's George Square as church and civic leaders, including Glasgow's Lord Provost Jacqueline McLaren, will gather.

Archbishop Nolan will lead the festive celebration, which is the blessing of baby Jesus' crib on the nativity scene.
The ritual will encompass "the true meaning of Christmas" as the Alba Brass and the Miltonnbank Primary School Choir will perform festive songs.
