A family believe missing Glasgow woman Sophie Johnston could have left the city boundary.
The 35-year-old vanished from her home in the Partick area yesterday at around 8.30am.
Now her worried relatives believe she could be in East Dunbartonshire around the Baldernock or Bardowie areas.
It comes after major searches have been launched to find Sophie who has been missing for over 24 hours.
Her family are growing deeply concerned about her disappearance and are hoping to bring her home as soon as possible.
She is 5ft 2 inches, white, thin build, petite with long red hair. The clothing she was wearing is unknown.
Sophie’s family member, who does not want to be named, told the Glasgow Times: “My cousin Sophie is missing.
“If anyone has any information, no matter how small, please get in touch with the police.
“We have reason to believe she is in the Baldernock or Bardowie area.
“Any information anyone has is important.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We are looking for any information regarding missing person Sophie Johnston.
"Sophie was last seen at 8.30am on Monday at her home address in the Partick Area.
“Sophie is 35 years old, 5 ft 2 inches, white, thin build, petite with long red hair and clothing is unknown.
“Any information please contact 101 and provide incident number PS-20221121-3198.”
