Police officers provided an update on a car crash which sparked an emergency response this afternoon near Braehead.
As the Glasgow Times reported it earlier, 999 services were called to the M8 motorway's junction 25A for the Braehead interchange shortly before 12.30pm.
Now the forces has revealed that they received reports of a four-vehicle collision just before 12pm.
There were no serious injuries and one person was fined in connection with road traffic offences.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.55am on Monday, November 28, 2022, police were called to the M8 at J25a, following a report of a four-vehicle crash.
"There were no serious injuries reported and one person was issued with a fixed penalty notice in connection with road traffic offences.”
