PAISLEY'S Christmas will host two dedicated ASN ice skating sessions as part of its line-up of festive activities.

As one of the festival's top attractions and a first for Paisley, the undercover ice rink is popular with families in the lead-up to Christmas to enjoy a great day out.

To allow everyone to enjoy the ice rink, it will host 45-minute ASN skating sessions on Sunday, December 11 and Sunday December 18 at 10am.

They will be designed to make the rink a more sensory-friendly environment to support people with ASN requirements, with reduced visitor capacity and both sound and lighting toned down to create a quieter experience.

Skating aids will also be available.

Marc Taylor, CEO of event supplier at Scotland’s Theme Park, said: "We want everyone to enjoy Paisley’s Christmas and hopefully by hosting these two events families can enjoy some inclusive, fun time together."

Paisley's Christmas begins on Wednesday, November 30 and runs daily until Friday, December 30.

In addition to the ice rink, the event will feature traditional festive rides, a Christmas market and other community-hosted activities.
