Glasgow shoppers can enjoy an extra bit of Christmas cheer this festive season at Silverburn.
The Pollok shopping centre is making sure no one will be feeling like a Grinch with professional joy spreaders ahead of what is sure to be a challenging winter for many.
‘The Festive Cheer Squad’, made up of five specialist elves, will be roaming the mall this weekend to entertain visitors with jokes, sweet treats and singing and dancing.

General manager David Pierotti said: “At Silverburn it’s our job to give people a reason to be cheerful, and with this year more challenging than most, we thought we would bring in some professional joy spreaders to boost visitors’ spirits.
“This festive season should be about making memories with friends and family, enjoying time together no matter the activity, whether it's shopping, going to the cinema or simply grabbing a bite to eat or a coffee.
"Our Festive Cheer Squad has been hired to add a little something extra to these experiences, giving people another reason to smile.”
