FIRE crews raced to the city centre this afternoon following reports of a blaze.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called to a commercial building on Argyle Street at around 2.40pm after the fire was reported.
Four fire engines were sent to the scene and firefighters remain in attendance.
There are no casualties reported as a result of the incident.
SFRS did not specify what building the fire was in.
An SFRS spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 2.38pm on Thursday, December 1 to reports of a fire in a commercial building on Argyle Street, Glasgow.
"Operations Control mobilised a total of four fire appliances and crews remain in attendance.
"There are no reported casualties.".
