MARTIN Compston has revealed the release date of his new drama filmed in Glasgow.
The Greenock actor was spotted all over the city earlier this year shooting scenes for Mayflies with co-star Tony Curran.
Now after much anticipation, Compston has confirmed that Mayflies will grace TV screens on December 27.

Episodes will appear on BBC iPlayer on December 28.
The series is based on the novel of the same name by author Andrew O'Hagan, and is produced by the team behind The Cry, Synchronicity Films.
It follows two best friends (Compston and Curran) and is described as "a story of enduring male friendship with love, truth, tenderness and a searing humanity."
Compston added that the experience was "gonna be emotional".
