MARTIN Compston has opened up on 'the most nervous he's ever been' on his podcast.
The Greenock actor was asked on this week's episode of Restless Natives by co-host Gordon Smart "what’s the most nervous you’ve ever been".
Martin responded that receiving an honourary degree from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2018 was one of the occasions he's been most nervous.

The Line of Duty star was presented with the honour, and became a doctor, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the world of television, his fundraising efforts with Ardgowan Hospice and his commitment to students.
He said: "There's two in particular.
"Ones when I got a doctorate from Glasgow Caledonian, giving that speech.
"It was one of those ones where I was like, 'I feel like a fraud man'.
"Behind all that sort of bravado, there’s a scared wee boy going, 'I don't belong here. I don't deserve this'."
He then explained that the launch of the Yes campaign for independence was the other occasion where he's felt most nervous.
He continued: "I was going up to that, different people came on, Brian Cox was coming on.
"I think there's a message for Shawn Carter at a time.
"And then the night before, they said to me, 'Look, would you mind sort of hosting it?'
"I went 'Well, that's a kind of presenter's job'.
"He just handed me these sheets.
"Then they said Sean Connery's not here.
"And they said, so you've just got to read out Sean Connery's thing.
"And I'm like, 'f**k me. Sean Connery sat down, wrote this. I now have to deliver one of the greatest actors of all times words, what? And then I was like, do I do the voice?'."
