Cops remain at the scene of a bank 'robbery' in Glasgow's Southside this afternoon.
The alarm was raised at the Kilmarnock Road TSB branch in Shawlands at around 1.45pm today with police racing to respond to reports of a theft.
Thankfully, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
It is understood that the bank has temporarily closed as police carry out further investigations.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.45pm on Monday, December 12 police were called to a report of a robbery at a bank in Kilmarnock Road, Glasgow.
"No one was injured and officers are at the scene carrying out enquiries.”
