A man has been arrested following a broad daylight robbery in Glasgow this afternoon.

At around 3.45pm, police raced to respond to reports of an incident at a business on Dyke Road in Knightswood.

It is understood that the scene was taped off as officers carried out their investigations.

It was later confirmed that a 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a robbery at a business on Dyke Road in Glasgow around 3.45pm on Monday, December 12.

“A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
